Primrose Cottage

Salcombe, South Devon
Holiday Cottage

Set in a relatively quiet, residential area of central Salcombe on the South Devon coast, yet within short distance of the town’s restaurants and famous waterfront. A delightful former fisherman’s cottage and a wonderful base for a couple or small family.

Primrose Cottage has been fully refurbished to a high standard and has envious views of the Salcombe estuary.

Accessed directly from the private terrace into a cosy, light and airy open plan sitting room. The kitchen is small but well equipped, with a drop-leaf dining table with four folding chairs that can be stored away easily during the day.

There are two bedrooms – a master bedroom with double bed and attractive window seat, plus a second room with 3′ bunk beds.

There is also a family bathroom with bath. The sunny, paved terrace to the front of the cottage has a table, chairs and bench seat – a fabulous spot for an al fresco drink after a busy day exploring the South West Coast Path.

With views over the north bank of the estuary and the entrance to Batson Creek from the terrace and the living room as well as from the master bedroom, this fabulous property will suit those in search of a comfortable base, within a short level walk of Salcombe’s amenities.

Parking for Primrose Cottage is at the long-stay car park only a five-minute walk away, a pass is supplied for the duration of your stay.

Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens.
